The Hon. Douglas S. Wong is an acting justice for the Queens County Supreme Court (Criminal Term) in the Eleventh Judicial District of New York. He was designated to the post by Chief Administrative Judge Jonathan Lippman in 1999.
Wong began his judicial career as a judge for the Criminal Court of the City of New York in Queens County, a position to which he was appointed by former Mayor David Dinkins in 1992. He was subsequently re-appointed by former Mayor Michael Bloomberg in 2002 and 2012.
During his tenure on the Criminal Court, Wong briefly served as a judge for the Family Court of the City of New York from 2005 to 2006. He was designated to this position by Chief Administrative Judge Jonathan Lippman.
Wong earned a bachelor’s degree from New York University. He then completed a J.D. at New York Law School.
