The Hon. Donald Coleman is a judge for the 36th District Court of Michigan. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor John Engler in 1992.
Coleman earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Detroit Mercy in 1983. He then completed a J.D. at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law (1986) and a master’s degree in business administration from Michigan State University (2014).
After graduating from law school, Coleman began his legal career as an assistant prosecuting attorney for the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office. He served in that capacity until 1988, at which time he became a founding partner of Coleman & Coleman.
His memberships have included the Bara Miracle Church International.
