The Hon. Delroy Pinnock is a support magistrate on the Erie County Family Court in the 8th Judicial District of New York.
The 8th Judicial District includes Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans, and Wyoming counties.
Pinnock received a bachelor’s degree in political science and government from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2012. He then completed a J.D. at the University at Buffalo School of Law in 2015. While a law student, Pinnock sat on the Buffalo Intellectual Property Journal and was vice president of the Black Law Association.
He was admitted to practice in New York (2016).
Prior to joining the bench, Pinnock worked as an attorney at the Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo.
He served as a Reducing Racial and Ethnic Disparities Program Fellow with the Center for Juvenile Justice Reform.
