The Hon. David W. Moorman is a judge for the 12th District Court in Texas. Moorman joined the bench in 2009.
The 12th District Court serves Grimes, Madison, and Walker counties. While on the bench, he has heard civil, family, and felony criminal matters.
Prior to his judicial role, Moorman was a partner at Haney, Moorman & Paschal, P.C. in Huntsville, where his practice focused on bankruptcy, business law, divorce, estate planning, family law, and real estate matters.
He received a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University. Moorman then completed a J.D. at Baylor Law School in 1993. He was admitted to practice in Texas (1993).
He is registered as a Republican.
