The Hon. Daniel R. Palumbo (Ret.) was a judge for the Olean City Court in the 8th Judicial District of New York. He was appointed to the City Court bench by former Olean City Mayor John J. Ash in 1993 and reappointed in 2005.
The 8th Judicial District includes Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans, and Wyoming counties.
Palumbo received a bachelor’s degree from Canisius College in 1972. He went on to complete a J.D. at Albany Law School in 1975. He was admitted to practice in New York in 1976.
Prior to his appointment, Palumbo was a partner at the DiCerbo & Palumbo Law Firm, a law practice he founded in 1977. During his tenure there, his practice focused on real estate law.
Palumbo is a native of Olean, New York.
