The Hon. Daniel L. Kennedy is a circuit judge on the 12th Judicial Circuit Court of Illinois. He was elected to the bench on November 4, 2014.
The 12th Judicial Circuit encompasses Will County.
Prior to his election, Kennedy maintained his own private practice as a sole practitioner, a law firm he helped build alongside his father.
Kennedy earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Thomas University. He then completed a J.D. at Creighton University School of Law.
His memberships have included the Machinists Union Local 124.
Raised in Joliet, Illinois, Kennedy attended Joliet West High School. He is a parishioner of the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus.
