Hon. Cristi R. Beaumont is a judge for the 4th Judicial Circuit Court of Arkansas. She was elected to the bench in 2012.
The 4th Judicial Circuit includes Madison and Washington Counties. Beaumont presides over the Drug Court in the 4th Judicial Circuit.
Prior to her election, her legal career included working in the Washington and Madison County Public Defender’s Office, as well as a private practice attorney, a deputy prosecutor with the 4th Judicial Circuit, and an assistant district attorney with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office in Texas.
Beaumont also taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas School of Law.
She received a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University. Beaumont went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Houston Law Center in 1998. She was admitted to practice in Texas (1998) and Arkansas (2001).
Beaumont was named by Governor Asa Hutchinson as a member of the Legislative Criminal Justice Oversight Task Force in 2015.
