The Hon. Constance H. Frogale is a judge for the 18th Judicial District Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court of Virginia in Alexandria. She was elected to the bench by the Virginia General Assembly in 2005.
Frogale was an Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia at the time of her election. She joined the office in 1985 and served in both the Criminal and Civil Divisions. Before that, Frogale worked as an assistant commonwealth’s attorney in Alexandria (1978 to 1985).
She received a B.A. from Purdue University in 1973. Frogale then completed a J.D. at William & Mary Law School in 1985.
She is a past president of the Virginia Council of Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Judges and the Virginia Association of Women Judges. Frogale also served as a member of the Advisory Committee on Domestic Violence for the Supreme Court of Virginia.
