The Hon. Clay Collins is a judge for the Bradley County General Sessions Court in Tennessee. He joined the bench in 2022.
Prior to his judicial tenure, Collins was an assistant district attorney with the 10th Judicial District since 2016. Before that, he was in private practice at the Law Office of Scott Bergthold (2014 to 2016).
Collins received a bachelor’s degree from The Master's University in 2007. He then completed a J.D. at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 2014. While a law student, Collins served as a legal assistant with the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office in Texas (2013) and a legislative assistant for the United States House Judiciary Committee (2013).
He served as vice president of the UCLA Chapter of the Federalist Society and has also been involved with the Rotary Club of Cleveland, ATS The Bridge, and the Christian Law Students Association.
Collins is a married father of five children.
