The Hon. Christopher B. Ackerman is a judge for the 6th Judicial District Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court of Virginia. He was elected to the bench by the Virginia General Assembly on July 1, 2019.
The 6th Judicial District encompasses the Cities of Hopewell and Emporia as well as the Counties of Brunswick, Greensville, Prince George, Surrey, and Sussex.
Prior to his election, Ackerman worked as an attorney in private practice in Hopewell.
