The Hon. Che C. Rogers is a judge for the 31st Judicial District Court of Virginia. He was elected to the bench by the Virginia General Assembly in 2021.
The 31st Judicial District encompasses Prince William County.
Prior to his election, Rogers was a sole practitioner in his own private practice. He specialized in criminal defense matters, representing defendants with violent and non-violent felonies, misdemeanors, and traffic related misdemeanors at the trial court and appellate levels.
Rogers earned a B.S. in aviation science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland University College. He also completed a J.D. at the University of Maryland, Francis King Carey School of Law. He is licensed to practice in Virginia (2010), the District of Columbia (2010), and Maryland (2011).
He is a recipient of the General District Court Trial Attorney of the Year Award from the Prince William County Bar Association (2017).
A veteran of the United States Coast Guard, Rogers was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, but has resided in Northern Virginia for more than two decades. He and his wife, Tosha, have two children. Tosha works as a veterinarian.
