The Hon. Charles Imbornone (Ret.) is a former judge for the First City Court of Orleans Parish in Louisiana. Following thirty years on the bench, he retired in 2010, having reached the mandatory age of retirement.
The First City Court includes the Eastbank of Orleans Parish. During his judicial tenure, Imbornone presided over marriages, rental disputes, accident cases, and personal injury suits.
He completed a J.D. at Loyola University, New Orleans College of Law.
Before pursuing his legal career, Imbornone worked for twenty-two years as a policeman in the motorcycle and narcotics division, where he spent time working undercover. He was also a former bailiff of the Traffic Court.
Following his retirement, he became of counsel at Favret, Demarest, Russo Lutkewitte & Schaumburg, APLS in New Orleans.
