Hon. Cathleen Compton is a judge for the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Arkansas. She was elected to the bench in 2014.

Prior to her election, Compton spent almost thirty years in private practice and was a former assistant attorney general with the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office.
She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas. Compton went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1985.
She was admitted to practice in Arkansas (1985) and the United States District Court for the Western District of Arkansas.
