Biography

Hon. Brianne J. Buccicone is a judge for the 10th Judicial District Court of Minnesota in Sherburne County. She was appointed to the bench by former Governor Mark Dayton on July 10, 2017, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Thomas D. Hayes (Ret.).


The 10th Judicial District includes Anoka, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Pine, Sherburne, Washington, and Wright Counties.


Prior to her appointment, her legal career included working as an assistant county attorney in the Civil Division of the Anoka County Attorney’s Office.


Buccicone was also a former special assistant county attorney assigned to the Protective Services Unit in Anoka County; a national product specialist, national account representative, and inside account manager at Thomson Reuters; an assistant public defender with the Ramsey County Public Defender’s Office; and a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Diane R. Alshouse with the 2nd Judicial District Court.


She received a B.A. from the University of Minnesota. Buccicone went on to complete a J.D. at Mitchell Hamline School of Law.


Her memberships have included the Minnesota Asian Pacific American Bar Association.


Buccicone served as team manager of the Andover Huskies Youth Hockey Association and a trainer for Heart Safe Andover.
