The Hon. Brendon Boone is a magistrate for the 23rd Judicial District Court of Kansas. He was elected to the bench in 2014 and re-elected in 2018 and 2022.
The 23rd Judicial District encompasses Ellis, Gove, Rooks, and Trego Counties. Boone has held assignments in Gove County.
Prior to his election, Boone was a teacher at Quinter High School, a position to which he was named in 1997. Before that, he spent two years teaching with the Ferris Independent School District in Texas (1995 to 1997).
Boone earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and teaching from Kansas State University in 1994. He later completed a master’s degree in computer systems networking and telecommunications at Ft. Hays State University in 2006.
His memberships have included the Kansas District Magistrate Judges Association.
Raised in Quinter, Kansas, Boone attended Quinter High School. He and his wife, Natalie, have five children. Natalie teaches second grade at Quinter Elementary School.
