Judge Bill Reinhardt: Professional Background and Legal Expertise

Hon. Bill Reinhardt is the Chief Judge for the Tifton Judicial Circuit Superior Court in Georgia. He was elected to the bench in November 2006.

The Tifton Judicial Circuit is comprised of Irwin, Tift, Turner, and Worth Counties.

Prior to his election, Reinhardt was an attorney in the Tifton law firm of Reinhardt, Whitley, Wilmot, Summerlin & Pittman, P.C., where he had practiced since 1991. At the firm, he handled domestic, criminal, business, and transactional matters.

Reinhardt received a B.S. in agriculture from the University of Georgia in 1986. He went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Georgia School of Law in 1990.

Reinhardt was born and raised in Tifton, Georgia, and is a graduate of Tift County High School (1982). He and his wife, Lisa, have three children. The family resides in Tifton and are members of First United Methodist Church.
