The Hon. Anthony A. Mozingo (Ret.) served as a judge for the 15th Circuit Court District of Mississippi. Mozingo was elected to the bench in 2010, filling a vacancy created by the resignation of the Hon. R. I. Prichard, III. He retired at the conclusion of his term in 2022 and became the executive director of Homes of Hope for Children.
The 15th Circuit District encompasses Jefferson Davis, Lamar, Lawrence, Marion, and Pearl River Counties.
Prior to his election, Mozingo was a judge for the Purvis Municipal Court. He also spent time as a judge pro tempore for the Jefferson Davis County Justice Court, a judge for the Lumberton Municipal Court, and an attorney for the Lamar County Board of Supervisors.
Mozingo earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. He then completed a J.D. at Mississippi College School of Law.
He was a resident of Oak Grove, Mississippi, at the time of his election. He and his wife, Ashley, have three children.
