Biography

The Hon. Anne M. Nardacci is a judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. She was nominated to the bench by President Joe Biden on May 19, 2022, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Gary Sharpe. The United States Senate confirmed her nomination on November 30, 2022.


Prior to her appointment, Nardacci was a partner at Boies Schiller Flexner LLP in Albany, where she specialized in complex commercial litigation and gained expertise in antitrust matters. She joined the firm as an associate in 2005 and was quickly elevated to counsel in 2012 and a partner in 2020. Before joining the firm, Nardacci was an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York City (2002 to 2005), where she served as a summer associate during law school.


She received a bachelor’s degree in government from Georgetown University in 1998. Nardacci then served on the staff of former Congressman Michael R. McNulty in Washington, D.C., before completing a J.D. at Cornell Law School in 2002. While a law student, she sat as an editor of the Cornell Law Review.


Her memberships include the New York State Bar Association and the Capital District Women’s Bar Association. Nardacci is also a former member of the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association’s Antitrust Section.


She was born in Albany, New York, and attended East Greenbush schools before graduating from Columbia High School as a National Merit Scholar. In her free time, Nardacci enjoys traveling with her family.
