The Hon. Angela Blevins is a magistrate for the Knox County Juvenile Court in Tennessee. She was appointed to the bench by Hon. Tim Irwin in 2020, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Dirk Weddington.
During her judicial tenure, Blevins has presided over the Knox County Safe Baby Court. Prior to her appointment, she spent fifteen years as a child advocate attorney in private practice at her own law firm (2006 to 2020).
She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Tennessee. Blevins then completed a J.D. at the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2006. While a law student, she was accepted as a Fellow into the Emory University Barton Clinic Summer Fellowship program.
She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. Blevins and her husband, Chris, have six children and several grandchildren.
