The Hon. Allen D. Hodgdon is an assistant judge for the Vermont Superior Court.
Hodgdon has held an assignment in the Family Division in Essex County.
Over the course of his professional career, he also served as the probate judge in Island Pond and operated the Guildhall Village General Store. In addition, Hodgdon served as the town moderator and chair of the Lister Board in Guildhall.
He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and a master’s degree in architectural history from Northwestern University.
Hodgdon was born and raised in Essex County. His interests include the local architectural history, specifically involving architect, Lambert Packard. Hodgdon went on to author “The Life, Times and Works of Lambert Packard, Architect,” which was published in 2018.
He is registered as a Republican.
