The Hon. Allen B. Couch is a judge for the DeSoto County Court in Mississippi. He joined the bench in 2006.
Couch also presides over the DeSoto County Youth Court.
He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi. Couch then completed a J.D. at the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1996.
He was admitted to practice in Mississippi (1997); Tennessee (1997); Arkansas (1998); the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennesee; the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas; the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi; and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth, Sixth, and Eighth Circuits.
Couch was appointed by the Mississippi Supreme Court to serve as a member of the Special Committee on Judicial Election Campaign Intervention (2019) and the Drug Court Advisory Committee (2011).
