The Hon. Adam B. Lambert is the master-in-equity for the Pickens County Equity Court in South Carolina. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Henry McMaster in 2023.
Lambert earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of South Carolina (2006) and an M.A.T. in secondary education from The Citadel (2008). He then completed a J.D. at Western Michigan University, Thomas M. Cooley Law School, in 2011.
He is licensed to practice in South Carolina (2011), the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.
After graduating from law school, Lambert entered into private practice in Greenville. He worked in that capacity until 2012, at which time he joined the Acker Firm (renamed Acker Lambert Hinton) in Pickens County. Lambert specialized in real estate transactions, including residential/commercial closings, as well as real estate litigation, wills, estates, and probate matters. He supplemented his practice with service as the town attorney for the Town of Six Mile.
His memberships have included the Pickens County Bar Association and the Greenville County Bar Association. He has also been involved with the Greater Pickens Chamber of Commerce and the Board of the Friends of Pickens Guardian ad Litem.
Lambert was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and raised in Woodruff, South Carolina, where he attended Woodruff High School. He and his wife, Stacey, have one son. When not presiding over legal proceedings, he enjoys playing golf, attending Gamecock sporting events, traveling, and spending time with his family.
