MOTION FOR PROTECTIVE ORDER
(Non-Party Production)

COMES NOW Defendant, LOUIS LAWMAN, by and through his undersigned attorney,
pursuant to Rule 1.280, of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, and moves this Honorable Court
for a protective order with respect to certain discovery sought by Plaintiff, JORGE ALONSO,
through the Notice of Non-Party Production from Palms of Terra Ceia Bay Community
Development District, and as grounds therefore states:

1. On June 25, 2008, Defendant was served with a Notice of Production from Non-Party,
a copy of which is attached as Exhibit “A.”

2. On June 25, 2008, the Defendant served his Objection to Non-Party Production, a copy
of which is attached hereto as Exhibit “B”.
