COMES NOW, the Defendant, UNIVERSAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF NORTH
AMERICA, by and through the undersigned counsel and, pursuant to the Court's Order
dated September 4, 2019, files its Amended Affirmative Defenses, as follows:

As its First Affirmative Defense, Defendant alleges Plaintiff's damages must be set
off by the policy deductible set forth in the Policy.

As its Second Affirmative Defense, Defendant alleged Plaintiffs damages are the
result of wear and tear, marring, and deterioration and precluded from coverage under
the policy. See HOMEOWNERS 3 — SPECIAL FORM, SECTION | —- PERILS INSURED
