Judge Anthony D. Truglia, Jr. - Professional Background & Legal Expertise

Biography

Hon. Anthony D. Truglia, Jr. is the presiding judge for Family Matters with the Fairfield Judicial District Superior Court in Connecticut. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Dannel Malloy in 2013.

During his judicial tenure, Truglia has also held an assignment on the Danbury Judicial District Superior Court.

Prior to joining the bench, he specialized in real estate, litigation, and corporate matters as an attorney in private practice in Stamford.

He received a B.A. from the University of Virginia in 1981. Truglia went on to complete a J.D. at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 1984.

At the time of his appointment, he resided in Stamford, Connecticut.
