Judge Sandra Bosso-Pardo - Professional Background & Legal Expertise

Biography

The Hon. Sandra Bosso-Pardo (Ret.) served as a judge for the Palm Beach County Court in Florida. Bosso-Pardo was appointed to the bench by former Governor Jeb Bush in 2005. She retired on September 30, 2021.

Prior to her appointment, Bosso-Pardo was general counsel for the Legal Department of the Palm Beach County School Board, a position to which she was named in 2002. During her tenure there, she was tasked with establishing its in-house litigation department. Before that, she spent time as a partner at Paxton, Crow, Smith, Bosso-Pardo & Davis (1987 to 2002).

Bosso-Pardo earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Spring Hill College in 1975. She then completed a J.D. at Stetson University College of Law in 1978. She was admitted to the State Bar of Florida in 1979.

After graduating from law school, Bosso-Pardo entered into private practice. She started as an associate at Paxton, Crow, Bragg & Smith in 1980. She worked in that capacity until 1983, at which time she joined Brackett, Cook, Sned, Welch & Scott.

Born in St. Mary’s Hospital in West Palm Beach, Bosso-Pardo is the fourth of seven children. She attended Cardinal Newman High School. Her father worked as an attorney in Palm Beach County.
