The Hon. Robert F. Moson (Ret.) was a judge for the Middletown City Court in the Ninth Judicial District of New York. He was appointed to the bench by former Mayor Joe DeStefano in 2010 and re-appointed in 2016. He retired from the bench in 2018.
Moson earned a B.A. in history from the State University of New York at New Paltz in 1974. He then completed a J.D. at Pace University, Elisabeth Haub School of Law in 1989.
After graduating from law school, Moson began his legal career as an associate at Dupee & Orloff in 1990. Four years later, he left the firm and joined Finkelstein & Partners, where he worked as a managing attorney and partner until his appointment to the Middletown City Court.
Moson has served as alderman for Middletown and as president of the Middletown City Council.
