Hon. Aaron W. Heisler is a commissioner for the Orange County Superior Court in California.
In that position, he has presided over a Probate calendar.
Prior to serving as a commissioner, Heisler was a senior research attorney with the Superior Court in Orange County, where he held an assignment in the Probate/Mental Health Division. As such, he was tasked with presiding as a temporary judge over the Division’s weekly Law & Motion calendar, preparing the weekly guardianship appointment calendar, and advising the Division’s judicial officers on various issues. Heisler came to the position in 2012.
Before that, he worked as an attorney in the private sector. During that time, Heisler spent over six years as an associate in the Labor and Employment Group of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton. He also practiced as an associate at Sanger & Swysen, where he litigated criminal and civil matters.
Heisler received a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1999. He went on to complete a J.D. at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 2004.
