Pursuant to CCP Section 473(b) Defendants’ Motion to set aside Default is granted. Plaintiffs are awarded reasonable attorney fees in the amount of $22,497.75. The court finds that the fees and hours incurred in connection with the default by Gregory Connell to be reasonable. Mr. Connell billed 45.55 hours at $285.00 per hour which amounts to $12,981.75. Mr. Becker billed 23.79 hours to oppose this motion (the court accepted the hours from 11/8/18-12/5/18). His hourly rate is $400.00 which amounts to $9516.00. The court finds these fees to be reasonable. Any further relief requested by Plaintiff is denied. The court will sign the proposed Order with the following modification to Paragraph 4: “Plaintiff’s counsel is awarded the sum of $22,497.75 as and for reasonable fees and costs. Payment of such award is not a condition to the relief granted to Defendant.”
