I. Background

Presently before the Court is Plaintiff Sheila Butts’ motion to tax costs. Timely opposition and reply papers have been filed.

II. Analysis

Butts argues that the $66,931.79 costs contained in Defendant CSU’s March 21, 2017 memorandum of costs are all barred as a matter of law, except $2,100 in legal fees associated with a discovery motion. Butts especially takes issue with $8,050 claimed for mediation and $16,625 for certain expert fees.
