After over three years, volumes of discovery, multiple motions including a summary judgment motion and a motion for attorneys fees, on the eve of trial, Petitioner, Patrick Craig, has filed these Motions for leave to file First Amended Complaints and to consolidate the two actions that he has already filed: CV-2017-6371 and CV-2017-12701. Petitioner’s actions filed in 2017 were Writ petitions that asked whether the required procedures for renewing a local property and business improvement district were followed in the 2017 renewal. Petitioner’s original pleading was a Petition for Writ of Mandamus, seeking declaratory and injunctive relief on the renewal of the Miracle Mile Property and Business Improvement District (“MMPBID”).
