Demurrers OVERRULED.
The Court preliminarily notes that the demurrers to the second and ninth causes of action are improperly pleaded and unclear. Defendants lump together what appear to be two independent demurrer grounds in attacking the second cause of action and the demurrers to both of these causes of action include purported demurrers that are not, as pleaded, statutory demurrer grounds, specifically the purported demurrer for failure to “properly plead the insurance policies” and the purported demurrer to unjust enrichment because there is no such independent cause of action. Even if the court were to construe these as actual statutory demurrers, apparently a general demurrer for failure to state facts sufficient to constitute a cause of action, the court would overrule them on their merits.
