Tentative Ruling on Petition for Change of Name: Petitioner Aimee Harley seeks to change the name of her minor daughters. This matter was originally on calendar on August 5, 2019 at which time the Court identified defects in the publication and a failure of the Petitioner to serve the father of the minor children. This matter has been continued on three occasions to allow the Petitioner to provide proper proof of publication and to serve the father. After three continuances and an extra five months to comply with the statutory requirements; the defects remain. The Petition is DENIED without prejudice. The clerk is instructed to close the file.
