Cross-Defendants Sycamore Park, et al.’s Demurrer to Second Amended Cross-Complaint

Plaintiffs/cross-defendants Sycamore Park and related individuals sued to establish their rights to the Sycamore Park community and quiet title. Cross-complainants/defendants agencies MRCC and SMCC cross-complained, seeking to establish that cross-defendants have no right to restrict access to Sycamore Park or associated easements to hiking and equestrian trails. The Agencies allege the Sycamore Park defendants installed a security kiosk, hired a security guard and erected signs without obtaining proper permits, in violation of the California Coastal Act. MRCC is a property owner in Sycamore Park.
