The motion to compel further supplemental responses is GRANTED as to request numbers 16, 18, 19, 21-22, 24-27, 39, 41, and 51. Request numbers 16, 18, 21, 22, 24, 26, and 27 are limited to vehicles of the same year, make, and model as Plaintiff’s vehicle and limited to those vehicles sold within California from January 1, 2018, to December 31, 2018. There are two categories of Demands at issue: (1) those relating to Defendant’s internal investigation and analysis of the Air Conditioning System and Transmission Defects affecting Plaintiff’s vehicle and establishing Defendant knew of these defects and knew it could not repair the defects but failed to repurchase the vehicle (request numbers 16, 18, 19, 21-22 & 24-27); and, (2) those relating to Defendant’s warranty and vehicle repurchase policies, procedures, and practices (request numbers 39, 41 & 51).
