On January 22, 2018, Plaintiff Law Offices of Vip Bhola (“Plaintiff”) filed the instant action in interpleader against Defendants Portia Rainey (“Rainey”), Anthem Blue Cross Life and Health Insurance Company (“Anthem Blue Cross”), Westlake Physical Therapy, Inc. (“Westlake Physical Therapy”), Renaissance Imaging Medical Associates, Inc. (“Renaissance Imaging”), and West Hills Hospital (“West Hills”) (collectively, “Defendants”). Following the filing of Plaintiff’s First Amended Complaint on April 20, 2018, Westlake Physical Therapy filed the instant demurrer. Plaintiff filed its opposition on June 13, 2018.
