Each plaintiff propounded a set of requests for production on defendant Wells Fargo Bank by mail on January 22, 2018; the action was removed to Federal Court on February 21, 2018; the U.S. District Court ordered in May 2018 that discovery be stayed pending a ruling on plaintiffs’ motion to dismiss the RICO cause of action; and on October 23, 2018 the Federal Court granted the motion to dismiss the RICO action and remanded the case back to the EL Dorado County Superior Court.
