The Court's Tentative Ruling for the 8/7/18 hearing to verify the biennial status report stated in part: "All of the investigation reports in this case, including the initial report, suggest that this conservatorship should be administered as a statutory limited conservatorship, rather than a general conservatorship."
At the 8/7 hearing, the Court requested the conservatee's court-appointed counsel (Public Defender) to make inquiry and recommendation respect to the propriety of a limited conservatorship. The conservator was directed to make an appointment with the regional center for purposes of a PC § 1827.5 statutory assessment. The regional center was asked to prepare that assessment for consideration at further hearing this date. Both conservator and conservatee were requested to be present at this hearing.
The Court will also need to hear from the Public Defender re whether this General Conservatorship should be converted into a Limited Conservatorship in light of the Tri-Counties
