Background
This case involves a family business originally established in 1948 to operate the historic Stamm Theatre in Antioch. Over time, the business grew and changed into a real estate ownership, management and development company. George Stamm (“George I”) left the
business to his children, George II and Mary Ann Balocco. This created two factions of owners, Plaintiffs (Stamm Family) and Defendants (Balocco Family.)
