HEARING ON MOTION FOR DETERMINATION OF GOOD FAITH SETTLEMENT

* TENTATIVE RULING: *
On August 14, 2020 defendant Henry Matoza Construction, Inc., (hereafter “Defendant”) filed a motion that this court determine whether a settlement between defendant on one hand and Joseph and Rosalia Polizzi (hereafter “Plaintiffs”) on the other constitutes a good faith settlement within the meaning of the Code of Civil Procedure section 877.6,
No other party has objected to the settlement. This court has independently reviewed the motion and moving papers keeping in mind the factors guiding its decision set forth in Tech-Bilt, Inc. v. Woodward-Clyde & Assocs. (1985) 388 Cal. 3d 488. The court finds that the settlement was made in good faith within the meaning of section 877.6, subd, (c), and therefore grants the motion.
