Petitioner Hillcrest Homeowners Association’s petition to reduce required voting percentage is GRANTED.
Petitioner moves to reduce voting percentage to change Petitioner’s name from Hillcrest Homeowners Association to Hillcrest Heights Owners Association. 64.9% of the owners voted in favor of the amendment. However, the CC&Rs require 75% approval. The Directors went door to door with blank ballots in hand to explain and ask homeowners to vote. There are 57 lots, and the Board was able to collect 43. Only 6 more ballots were needed. Of the ballots received, 86% of the members are in favor of the amendment.
