Defendant Jennifer Giusti’s motion to continue the trial presently set for February 13, 2018, is

Plaintiff Nikolas Kostelny’s motion to compel the further deposition of defendant Brian Cassidy
and request for monetary sanctions is GRANTED. (Code Civ. Proc., § 2025.450, subd. (a).)
Defendant is ordered to answer the questions set forth in plaintiff’s separate statement, and any
other questions, as permitted by California law, and subject to legitimate objections. Sanctions
are awarded against defendant Brian Cassidy in the amount of $3,760.00. (Code Civ. Proc., §
2025.450, subd. (g)(1); Litton Decl., ¶ 10.) The Court reduces the fee rate to $400/hour and
awards only those fees incurred as of the time of counsel’s declaration.
