Plaintiff Judith Gottesman’s Motion for Attorney’s Fees is GRANTED
FACTUAL & PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND
This is a legal malpractice case in which the attorney who was being sued refused to admit various issues in response to the plaintiff’s request for admissions On October 1, 2019, Plaintiff Judith Gottesman (“Plaintiff”) served Defendant Dwana Bain (“Defendant”) with a set of Requests for Admissions (“RFA”). (Finelli Dec]. 1[ 2; Trial Exhibit 18.) On November 20, 2019, Defendant served her responses. (Finelli Decl. 1| 2; Trial Exhibit 19.) No Supplemental Responses were ever served. (Finelli Decl. 1i 2,) Out of the nineteen RFAs, Defendant only admitted RFAs Nos. 8, 10, and 12. She denied all others.
The RFAs served on Defendant stated the following:
