RULING

Defendants’ motion to strike portions of plaintiffs’ reply brief is denied.

BACKGROUND:

This coordinated proceeding involves eight putative class action cases that have been grouped into two actions – the Hourly Employee Cases and the Manager Cases. The Hourly Employee Cases are entitled Guzman v. CKE Restaurants, Inc., Rodriguez v. Carl Karcher Enterprises, Inc., Perez v. Carl Karcher Enterprises, Inc., Coleman v. Carl Karcher Enterprises, Inc., and Henderson v. Carl Karcher Enterprises, Inc. In the Hourly Employee Cases, the plaintiffs are current or former hourly restaurant employees who assert wage and hour claims against their employer or former employer, defendants Carl Karcher Enterprises, Inc. and CKE Restaurants, Inc. The Manager Cases are entitled Cubias v. Carl Karcher Ent
