Motion to Compel Answers to Deposition Questions

Having considered the moving, opposing, and reply papers, the Court rules as follows.

BACKGROUND

On July 5, 2018, Plaintiff Armen Yarian (“Plaintiff”) filed a complaint against Defendant Frank Joseph Guevara (“Defendant”) alleging negligence and negligence per se for a rear-end collision that occurred on September 6, 2017.

On November 5, 2019, Plaintiff filed a motion to compel further deposition testimony from Defendant pursuant to California Code of Civil Procedure section 2025.480.

On December 5, 2019, the Court held an informal discovery conference. At this conference, the parties resolved the issues involving the first question, leaving the second and third questions still in dispute.

Trial is set for March 9, 2020.
