Background
Plaintiff Robert Clippinger, in his capacity as President of Clippinger Investment Properties, as Trustee of the Clippinger Family Trust UDT May 15, 1991, and as an individual (collectively, “Plaintiff”) filed this action against Defendant Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP (“JMBM”) on July 5, 2018 asserting causes of action for breach of fiduciary duty and professional negligence. Plaintiff alleges that JMBM committed legal malpractice in its representation of Plaintiff in a transaction involving, among others, VWC Lofts. (Compl., ¶ 1.)
JMBM now moves the Court to compel arbitration pursuant to an arbitration agreement entered into by Plaintiff in connection with the legal services provided
