TENTATIVE RULING: The motion is GRANTED. Defendant Jong Lee’s answer is stricken and default is entered.

Lee has failed to respond to an authorized discovery method and to comply with the Court’s order compelling him to do so. This motion is unopposed.

The Court finds that Lee’s failure to serve verified responses amounts to willful disobedience of its order. Although Lee was properly served with the instant motion, he failed to file any opposition, and the court infers Defendant has no meritorious responses. (Laguna Auto Body v. Farmers Ins. Exchange (1991) 231 Cal.App.3d 481, 487; Deyo v. Kilbourne (1978) 84 Cal.App.3d 771, 796-797.)
