Plaintiff’s motion notwithstanding the verdict is DENIED. Plaintiff’s motion for new trial is DENIED.

PRELIMINARY COMMENTS:

Plaintiff’s motion basically relies upon facts that would support a finding that Defendant was liable for, inter alia, discriminating against and retaliating against Plaintiff. However, this is not sufficient for Plaintiff to succeed on this motion.

It is not this Court’s role to determine whether it agrees with the jury’s verdict, or whether it would have ruled differently had the case been tried to the Court. Rather, this Court must deny the motion for JNOV if any substantial evidence supports the jury’s verdict, or if reasonable inferences can be drawn from that evidence that support the verdict.
