On May 23, 2018, Bobby Geani Stells (“Plaintiff"’) brought suit against Pacific Gateway Workforce Board (“Pacific”) and California State Employment Development Department (“California Employment” or “Defendant”). Plaintiff has filed first, second, and third amended complaints. The third amended complaint alleges claims for: (1) dangerous condition of public property — Government Code section 835 against California Employment and (2) strict liability against Pacific.
