#1 – California Capital Insurance Co. v. Gilbert, et al. (BC704674)

On October 23, 2018 Defendant Joyce Gilbert filed a motion to transfer this case from the Central District to the North District (Lancaster Courthouse) pursuant to the parties’ stipulation.

The motion is supported by the separate declaration of attorney Armig K. Khodanian, who authenticates the attached Exh. A (the parties’ stipulation). The stipulation inter alia recites that the complaint involves a defendant who resides in, property located in, and conduct occurring in, Lancaster, which is in the North District. (Exh. A at ¶¶ 2-4.) The stipulation also indicates that Defendant is in her late seventies, and Plaintiff California Capital Insurance Company has agreed to Defendant’s request to transfer the matter to the North District for her convenience. (Id. at ¶¶ 5-6.)

No opposition has been received.
